Born in Rome, Anna Lisa Bellini discovers her musical gifts at the age of seven. She studies piano with Giuliana Bordoni Brengola at the Conservatory "Santa Cecilia" in Rome, graduating with highest honours and, standing out for her fascinating sensitivity and personality, she received the Special Prize "E. Iacovelli-Marchi" for the best diploma. She continues her studies at the "Scuola di Musica di Fiesole" with the great Italian pianist Maria Tipo who discovers her great talent and writes about her: "Her fresh and spontaneous musicality is enchanting; her refined taste, her equilibrium, her brilliant intelligence make herself an exceptional pianist".
She was awarded the prestigious prize "Diploma d'Onore" given by the "Accademia Musicale Chigiana" in Siena and attracted further attention of the musical world by winning first prize at piano competitions including the "M. Clementi-Kawai" Competition of Firenze (where she is awarded the Special Prize "Robert Schumann") and the European Competition of Contemporary Music "Bela Bartòk". the Genovese Politeama' s audience and won the First Prize by unanimous decision of the jury and its president (no second prize was awarded) at the Concorso "Martha Del Vecchio" "…by virtue of her elegant phrasing, sensibility and vigour that make a strong impression on public and jury".
She gains authority in the international music world in Germany, Chile, Japan, France, Belgium, Switzerland and in the most important musical Italian cities such as Firenze, Napoli, Ferrara, Pistoia, Mantova (Palazzo Te), Genova (Teatro Carlo Felice, Politeama), Roma (Oratorio del Gonfalone), Parma (Teatro Regio), Siena (Settimana Musicale Senese),Firenze, Napoli, Ferrara, Pistoia, Modena, Udine, Cremona, Rovigo, Siracusa. She is also invited to the "Okinawa Moon Beach Music Camp & Festival" (Japan) and plays for the Japanese Emperor Akihito and his wife Michico on the occasion of their visit to Italy. RADIO VATICANA and Radio Rai Tre broadcasted her concerts like Mozart's Piano Concerto K467, Chopin's Sonata op.35, works of Beethoven, Haydn, Mozart, Brahms, Schumann, Mendelssohn, Reinecke, Weber, Franck, Debussy.
Her interest in exploring the developing way of the XX century, brings her to perform works by composers such as Reger, Busoni, Dallapiccola and Skalkottas. She is the protagonist of first performances such as the first performance of "Quattro Maschere di Dioniso" by Carlo Galante, the Tansman's quintet and the first Italian performance of the Schönberg's Trio "Verklärte Nacht op.4 (translated by Eduard Steuermann).
She has played Beethoven's Concerto n°4 to celebrate Maria Tipo's 70th birthday in Florence, Hindemith's "Die Vier Temperamente" for piano and string orchestra at the International Festival-Hinterzarten in the Black Forest, Chopin's Grande Polonaise Brillante précédée d'un Andante Spianato Op.22 with orchestra at "Bach-Reger Tage "- Weimar and Beethoven's Triple Concerto for the inauguration of the Teatro Auditorium in Chieti.
At the same time she has devoted herself to chamber music, widening the sound possibilities and horizons of her own creativity. She founded Trio Reger who is regularly invited to important National and International Festivals and has created the " Beethoven Festival Sutri" for which she has held International Master Classes such as in Bad Langensalza/Weimar (Germany). Anna Lisa Bellini records for MARIO TON (Germany) and for VIDEORADIO (Italy): her last CD is with works of Beethoven and Chopin; her next CD is with Sonatas from Mozart to Dallapiccola; her CD Schubert-Liszt-Busoni "…..transforms the sound in a suggestive and introspective journey through the soul" (AMADEUS). In May 2010 she received the prestigious price “Targa Speciale R.O.S.A - Risultati Ottenuti Senza Aiuti" from Canova Club of Rome, by her artistic career.
