Anna Lisa Bellini<\/strong><\/p>\n

An active concert pianist, over the past thirty years\u00a0 Anna Lisa Bellini has given concerts in Germany, Chile, Japan, France, Belgium, Switzerland and in the most important musical Italian cities such as Florence, Naples, Ferrara, Pistoia, Mantua (Palazzo Te), Genoa (Teatro Carlo Felice, Politeama), Rome (Oratorio del Gonfalone), Parma (Teatro Regio), Siena (Settimana Musicale Senese), Bergamo, Ferrara, Pistoia, Modena, Udine, Cremona, Rovigo, Syracuse, etc\u2026<\/p>\n

Born in Rome, she discovered her musical gifts at the age of seven and studied piano with Giuliana Bordoni Brengola at the Conservatory “Santa Cecilia” in Rome, graduating with highest honours and, standing out for her fascinating sensitivity and personality, receiving the Special Prize “E. Iacovelli-Marchi” for the best diploma. She continued her studies at the “Scuola di Musica di Fiesole” with the great Italian pianist Maria Tipo who wrote\u00a0 about her: “Her fresh and spontaneous musicality is enchanting; her refined taste, her equilibrium, her brilliant intelligence make herself an exceptional pianist”.<\/p>\n

She was awarded the prestigious prize “Diploma d’Onore” given by the “Accademia Musicale Chigiana” in Siena and attracted further attention of the musical world by winning first prize at piano competitions including the “M. Clementi-Kawai” Competition in Florence (where she is awarded the Special Prize “Robert Schumann”), the European Competition of Contemporary Music “Bela Bart\u00f2k\u201d and the \u201cMartha Del Vecchio\u201d Competition \u201c\u2026by virtue of her elegant phrasing, sensibility and vigour that made a strong impression on public and jury” (La stampa- Genoa).<\/p>\n

She has played Beethoven’s Concerto n\u00b04 to celebrate Maria Tipo’s 70th birthday in Florence, Hindemith’s “Die Vier Temperamente” for piano and string orchestra at the International Festival-Hinterzarten in the Black Forest, Chopin’s Grande Polonaise Brillante pr\u00e9c\u00e9d\u00e9e d’un Andante Spianato Op.22 with orchestra at “Bach-Reger Tage “- Weimar and Beethoven’s Triple Concerto for the inauguration of the Teatro Auditorium in Chieti. She was also invited to the “Okinawa Moon Beach Music Camp & Festival” (Japan) and played for the Japanese Emperor Akihito and his wife Michico on the occasion of their visit to Italy.<\/p>\n

Radio Vaticana and Radio Rai Tre broadcasted her concerts like Mozart’s Piano Concerto K467, Chopin’s Sonata op.35, works of Beethoven, Haydn, Mozart, Brahms, Schumann, Mendelssohn, Reinecke, Weber, Franck, Debussy. Also active in the promotion of contemporary and today\u2019s music, she has been the protagonist of first performances such as the first performance of “Quattro Maschere di Dioniso” by Carlo Galante and Tansman’s quintet, the first Italian performance of the Sch\u00f6nberg’s Trio “Verkl\u00e4rte Nacht op.4 (translated by Eduard Steuermann) and first performance of\u00a0 \u201cPasseggiata in riva al mare\u201d, dedicated to her by composer Mario Guido Scappucci.<\/p>\n

Her CD Schubert-Liszt-Busoni “\u2026..transforms the sound in a suggestive and introspective journey through the soul” (Amadeus). He has been invited as a member of the jury in piano competitions such as National Piano Competition “Citt\u00e0 di Albenga\u201d, National Piano Competition “J.S. Bach” in Sestri Levante\u00a0 and Concours International de piano de Saint Paul Trois Ch\u00e2teau. Since 2001 she has been the artistic director of Beethoven Festival Sutri.<\/p>\n

Anna Lisa Bellini teaches piano at Conservatorio Statale di Musica “Ottorino Respighi” di Latina and at the International Musical Advanced Course in Chiusi della Verna (Italy).<\/p>\n

For her artistic carreer she received the prestigious price \u201cTarga Speciale R.O.S.A from Canova Club of Rome and \u201cPremio Efebo\u201d by Sutri Mayor Vittorio Sgarbi.<\/p>\n
